Our Story
Pagiis was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between people and their local communities. Founded by Malibongwe L Mlambo, who attended Wits University and incubated Pagiis through the TMC program, the vision for Pagiis was clear: create an app that facilitates real-time, meaningful connections in public spaces.
With a diverse team of dedicated professionals from various backgrounds—marketing, microbiology, commerce, and teaching—Pagiis has been a labor of love, developed over seven years. Each member has contributed their unique expertise to build an app that not only connects people but also supports small businesses by providing a platform for visibility and interaction.
Today, Pagiis stands as a testament to what can be achieved through perseverance, collaboration, and a shared vision of a more connected world. We’re excited to continue our journey, expanding our impact and bringing people closer together, one interaction at a time.
